Aston Martin Valkyrie THOR Team 14° Le Mans 2025

Model comes with a premium acrylic display cover. From another world. Aston Martin’s endurance racing hypercar Valkyrie bears more than just an extraordinary name. Just as Odin’s supernatural warrior women from Norse mythology roamed the battlefields and decided the fate of the fallen for the majestic Valhalla, so too, did the British manufacturer’s decision to compete in the Le Mans hypercar field with a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine without a hybrid drive seem to be from another world. In addition to this outstanding engine choice, the Valkyrie was also the only car in the 2025 endurance classic grid to have been derived and developed as an LMH from a road-legal hypercar. It was clear that the road-going version would have to be adapted for the race. After all, more than 1,000 hp at 11,000 rpm would not have complied with the ACO regulations, nor would it have been suitable for endurance racing. So, the British trio of Harry Tincknell, Tom Gamble and Ross Gunn had to make do with just under 700 hp in the traditional No. 007. After just a few practice laps at the Sarthe, the Valkyrie with its unmistakable V12 sound, had captured the hearts of the fans and instantly achieved legendary status. In the end, 14th place was almost irrelevant, for the Valkyrie had left the Le Mans battlefield as the winner of hearts anyway.
