Porsche 935 Gelo Warsteiner winner DRM Norisring 1977 DRM-Champion
Raceland Gold Edition made by Spark. Exclusive model.
It was all about Gelo Racing against Kremer Racing in Germany's Deutsche Rennsport Meisterschaft championship in 1977. The legendary rivalry of Georg Loos' Gelo Team and Kremer Racing of Kremer brothers Erwin and Manfred made the 1977 Division 1 with the powerful turbo Group 5 cars a nailbiting thriller.
When DRM came to the Norisring Bob Wollek was leading the championship but Gelo driver Rolf Stommelen took pole in practice. The race produced the usual battle between these two but in lap 13 Wollek's engine failed and Stommelen won the race to take the lead in the DRM ranking which he defended until the end of the season. The championship title was Gelo's greatest success in team history.
