Porsche 911 GT3 R Iron Dames 48° Le Mans 2025
Every Dream Counts
When the Iron Dames were founded in 2018 by former racing driver Deborah Mayer, it quickly became clear that this was about much more than just a racing team. In seven years, the project has developed into a diverse platform for female talent. In addition to a motorsport development programme, it now includes two professional show jumping teams, the Cannes Stars and the Monaco Comets, as well as two educational initiatives launched last year. The goal: to encourage girls and women worldwide to surpass themselves and push boundaries.
In motorsport, the core of their work, the Iron Dames have long proven that they can compete at the highest level. In 2025, the team entered the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the seventh year in a row. With the support of Manthey Racing, they raced a Porsche 911 GT3 R in the striking ‘Powering Your Dreams’ livery – a rolling declaration of the team's intentions. After Michelle Gatting was injured on the test day, Belgian driver Sarah Bovy stepped in to complete the trio with Rahel Frey and Celia Martin, who was making her Le Mans debut. Although 48th place was not a sporting success, the Iron Dames once again succeeded in inspiring girls and women around the world to follow their own dreams.
